In my day job as a Graphic Designer I spend most of my time recreating artwork given to me by the customer. On occassion though I get to create a piece from scratch. Below are this years artworks I've had the pleasure of designing.
Sheetz CLI Transport Magnet ~ The customer wanted an informative magnet and gave me creative control on whether or not to leave it with just text and their logo. I decided to add a border of license plates of the locations mentioned to keep the design from being plain.
The border is ghosted so as to not detract from the necessary information where your eye needs to land. It does, however, keep the magnet from appearing so empty. Each state is designed using a graphic style the company regularly use throughout their stores so they each fit in to the over all look they have.
