For Halloween this year I decided to paint one of my favorite mythical creatures--the Dullahan (aka Headless Horseman). I don't often work in photoshop, but I enjoyed creating this piece with eerie tones of red, pink, blue and luminescent green. It was tricky trying to figure out how to make my main object ethereal, but with layers on top of layers to create some density and yet still have transparency, I think I managed to capture it quite well.
